The castel of Cardiff
Cardiff Castle is a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion located in the city centre of Cardiff, Wales.
The original motte and bailey castle was built in the late 11th century by Norman invaders on top of a 3rd-century Roman fort. The castle was commissioned either by William the Conqueror or by Robert Fitzhamon, and formed the heart of the medieval town of Cardiff and the Marcher Lord territory of Glamorgan.
Following the Wars of the Roses, the status of the castle as a Marcher territory was revoked and its military significance began to decline. The Herbert family took over the property in 1550, remodelling parts of the main range and carrying out construction work in the outer bailey, then occupied by Cardiff's Shire Hall and other buildings. During the English Civil War Cardiff Castle was initially taken by a Parliamentary force, but was regained by Royalist supporters.

OUR SCHOOL TRIP TO TRENTO
We are class II B and we made a trip to Trento for two days
We visited
Palazzo delle Albere
Palazzo delle Albere is a palace in Trentino and is near Trento. Albere Palace is also close to Museo D'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Stadio Briamasco and MUSE science museum.
Last week our class went to Trento for a school trip. We stayed there for two days, and we visited the important monuments of the city.
The first day, we first visited Dom of Trento. It is in the city centre, it is very big and inside there are a lot of statues and a tomb.
Thun palace is the third monument we visited, it is in the city centre, too.
It was property of the very rich family Thun, and it was used in some important historical moments, for example during the Council of Trento.
In the late afternoon, the last monument we visited was the Castle. We only visited the outside, inside there are a lot of paintings and some exhibitions.

The second day, we spent all the morning in the MUSE (Science Museum of Trento). Inside there are a lot of fossils of ancient and modern animals, a room transformed into a real forest, with its trees, leaves and animals. In that room there is also a fall. My favourite attraction in Trento was the museum.
The last thing we saw in Trento was Palazzo delle Albere. It's called "delle Albere" because it was surrounded from trees. Then we returned home.
